Storyline The Thirst
Maxx and his girlfriend Lisa are a pair of recovering drug addicts whom are recruited by a clan of sex & violence crazed vampires led by the egotistical and charismatic Darius. But to become members, Maxx and Lisa have to give up their humanity and become vampires themselves. As Maxx and Lisa adopt to their new lifestyle of immortality with all the advantages and disadvantages, their addiction to drugs now turns to addiction to human blood and each new 'fix' leads them deeper into debauchery. The Thirst; the Thirst for many things... love, respect, desire, fame, and money. My third read of Harry Hole and not the last. I will have to go read The Snowman before the movie comes out this year. Harry in the Thirst is meeting the napoleon of adversaries and it's going to drive him crazy to catch him and make sure he is the right man.
Overall, The Thirst had some fun moments but not enough to make me fall for it. Honestly, after about an hour I felt so bored that I even thought about just turning it off. For some people though it might be a good way to spend their evening, but not me. I consider it to be nothing more then a teenage film that bathes in blood.
