Storyline Night Watch
A long night's journey into day: Victor, a street hustler in the Santa Fe and Pueyrredón neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, from the evening of November 1, All Saints Day, to the dawn of November 2, All Souls Day. Victor's odyssey takes him from clients to friends to a gay gym then a hotel room and an all-night café. He plays pick-up soccer with kids whose parents are going through trash or waiting in parks. A vendor gives him a chrysanthemum. It seems he's being followed, and on the night streets, death is close at hand. Can Victor survive until dawn?Movie details

Looks like there is a bug in this quest. I turned in the quest after selecting the bandolier of the Night Watch as my reward. Text box showed the quest was completed and that I received the item but it was nowhere to be found in my inventory. If you petition a GM they can send you a replacement bandolier/quiver in the mail.
Ever since, the forces of light govern the day while the night belongs to their dark opponents. In modern day Moscow the dark Others actually roam the night as vampires while a "Night Watch" of light forces, among them Anton, the movie's protagonist, try to control them and limit their outrage.
The end is important in all things, as we have learned from Ghost Dog, and this is absolutely true when speaking of Night Watch. After about twenty minutes you think you know exactly where the plot will end. It really seems that this is the director's and writer's fault, because they give away too many clues, so I almost instantly lost interest.
Night Watch is the 6th book in the Watch subseries of Discworld. Surprisingly, I enjoyed this one pretty well. I say “surprisingly” because, as I’ve said in other reviews, Vimes often gets on my nerves. This book focuses on him very heavily, more than any other book since the first Watch book.
