The Nothing is a surreal and atmospheric action game with a new aesthetic, procedurally generated elements and perma-death - Designed for multiple short "runs", with endings based on the route you've chosen and the actions you've taken.
Achieving 'nothing' as a state of mind in this tradition allows one to be totally focused on a thought or activity at a level of intensity that they would not be able to achieve if they were consciously thinking. A classic example of this is an archer attempting to erase the mind and clear the thoughts to better focus on the shot.
Spiraling into the titular void on 13th album The Nothing, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis pulls his bandmates down with him, delivering the veteran metal crew's most vulnerable and mature work to date. Intensely cathartic, this dark journey is strongly influenced by the 2018 passing of Davis' wife, Deven, resulting in some of the most painfully honest work they've ever produced.
